Security

Sailing takes place at your own risk.

For your own safety, please note the following if you do not have a sea kayak course according to IPP2.

The sailing waters cover the north side of Vejle Fjord. It is not allowed to cross the canal.

Don't go alone on the fjord, stay close to the coast and never more than 150 meters from land.

Life jackets must be worn at all times and all participants must have normal swimming skills, and be able to swim at least 300 meters in the open sea.

If you are using a spray deck, it is recommended to sail with the strap up, so that you can easily pull it off if you tip over.

Remember your phone (in a waterproof bag) and check the weather forecast before leaving (it can be chilly on the water.

We reserve the right to terminate the rental agreement if the wind speed is more than 5 m/s.

All safety precautions must be followed and it is your own responsibility to know the rules of sailing.

Responsibility

The renter is responsible for himself (and possibly minors) as well as the rented equipment at all times. By renting, the tenant has accepted that he is willing to take this risk or to take out adequate insurance.

In the event of damage or loss, the renter is liable for DKK 500 per loose part/equipment and up to DKK 10,000 for a whole kayak.
